Black Powder Guns

1851 Navy Black Powder Revolver.  Western expansion in the mid-19th century dictated the U.S. Cavalry carry a reliable sidearm designed for the times. This fine reproduction of that repeater Colt captures the original design. The authenticity is precise, from walnut grips to color case-hardened loading lever. Its cylinder carries the same engraving pattern used for the original. This brass framed revolver is available in .44 caliber.                         $135

1858 Remington® New Army.  Much in demand because of its one-piece frame and superior internals, this hefty revolver originally manufactured by Remington saw wide-spread use during the Civil War. Complete with authentic 6 1 inch barrel, brass trigger guard and fixed sights. A blade front and adjustable target rear sight is fitted on stainless steel models only.

1860 Army.   This service revolver originally created by Colt® for the Union army during the war of the North and South is a must for every black powder collector and shooter. The richly blued .44 caliber barrel contracts handsomely with either steel or brass frame models with walnut grips. Authentic in every detail to give you the same experience as during the Civil War.

Smith Carbine .50 caliber (top)  The Smith was one of the most successful breech loading carbines of the Civil War. Its hinged breech action permitted quick and easy reloading while on horseback. the Smith carbine replica features a color case hardened receiver, blued steel barrel and a walnut butt stock and forend.
